Get to Know Katie

Katie Robins is a single mother, an ICU nurse, and a life long Hoosier. Caring for others isn’t just her job, it’s part of her everyday life. She sees that same care reflected in Grant County, where neighbors know one another, show up when help is needed, and value kindness, community, and a slower pace of life.

Katie believes that we deserve that same level of care from our leadership in the Indiana House of Representatives.

Values & Vision

Katie’s approach involves a deep understanding of community needs, as well as her own life experiences. She listens, strategizes and utilizes empathy to inform her decision making process. She will be a representative that benefits ALL residents in District 31, not just the chosen few. Here is how her process unfolds:

Empowering Communities

We believe in the strength in our communities and the importance of creating opportunities for everybody to thrive. By fostering collaboration and inclusivity with Hoosiers both living near and far from us, we can build a future where all voices are heard and represented.

Championing Equality

Equality is at the core of our vision and decision making. We believe in a society where every single individual gets a fair shot at every opportunity. Regardless of background, race, gender, or ethnicity, we believe that every single person should have the same access to all resources and opportunities.
